MasterCard security has recently informed us of a large-scale compromise at Hannaford grocery stores involving millions of debit and credit card account numbers, including some Medway Co-operative Bank Debit MasterCards. Although certain account data may have been exposed in this incident, it does not necessarily mean that data related to your Medway Co-operative Bank Debit MasterCard was taken or that fraud has occurred on your account.

Please be assured that we regularly monitor activity on Medway Co-operative Bank’s Debit MasterCard accounts to protect against fraud. You will be contacted by mail within the next week if your Medway Co-operative Bank Debit MasterCard was among the cards affected by the Hannaford breach and a new Debit MasterCard will be sent to you.
